Wednesbury Geotrail Museums and Gallery

This geosite is a small town centre with important historic buildings and industrial associations.

Architectural stones and imported decorative rock-types here provide a building stones geotrail. The town's Museum and Art Gallery hosts a fine geological collection of about 7000 objects (none of this is currently on display but may be viewed by appointment only). Wednesbury has an active local history society that organises a programme of talks and local heritage exhibitions.  A geotrail leaflet is being prepared for this geosite.
