The Black Country is a rich and varied landscape with many special natural and historic features scattered across its territory. These have often been referred to as 'Hidden Gems' of UK heritage. A selection of these are included as Geosites within the Geopark project landscape where they meet the criteria specified by the Global Geoparks Network.
